2) Lost Palm Oasis Trail in Joshua Tree
Another desert trail that is worth a visit is in Joshua Tree National Park. Also moderately difficult, this is a longer hike clocking in at a little more than 7 miles. The trail is a straight shot through the desert with a small elevation gain that will put you at one of the most gorgeous oases in the entirety of the park. Also, this trail is a more remote than some of the others in the park so it is less crowded. Think about taking this hike in the springtime when blooming wildflowers make this trail truly magical.
